I am up to Episode #051 of my weekly free jazz radio show, Certified Tonk. You can find all of the past shows at www.backhouse.wtf/tonk – it is only half an hour each episode so won’t trouble you too much.

With it being weekly and the next episode is Episode #052 I will have completed a solar cycle of broadcasts – something that I am happy with; I did not think it would get as far, in all honesty.

Here is Episode #051, what do you think to it? I love making these shows.

Most of the time, I quickly make the show as Kathryn is whipping up a feast in the other room – I have learnt so much from it and I may see about extending it to an hour in length?

However, I am not realy looking forward to the weekend – me and Kathryn are saying β€œcheerio” to two dear friends, people who have had our back from day one. A couple we have come to love and depend on.

Stewart and Karen are moving up to Northumberland on Monday and their leaving do is this Friday. That is tomorrow. I will miss popping for a beer with Stew and putting the world to rights. He is a good mate and equally matched with Karen – a very humble chap who would not say β€˜boo’ to a goose.

But, they are moving in to a different stage of their life and I support them all the way – we will have to visit them and to keep them in line.

He also wants to share his naivety and enthusiasm for finding something interesting. Henri Chopin, AGF, and RuPaul influence Andrew’s artistic enquiry. Documenting “The new shiny thing,” Andrew tries to share his excitement for it. But, he also asks about its authenticity and worth.
